Check In/Out Times

Cabins & Wagons: Check-in is anytime after 3pm. If after office hours we will leave a note on the office door with directions to your unit. Check-out is by 11am.

Ranch House: Check-in is anytime after 4pm. If after office hours we will leave a note on the office door with directions to the Ranch House. Check-out is by 10am.

Check out is at 11am (10am for the Ranch House). A $50 per hour fee for late check-out will be automatically charged.

All overnight rates include Hot Springs Pool admission from check-in to check-out, for registered lodging guests. Hot Springs use can be extended with purchase of day visitor passes through the office. The Hot Springs are CLOSED WEDNESDAYS from 9am-5pm

Deposit & Final Payment

A 50% deposit is due when making your reservation. FINAL PAYMENT is due, in full, 14 days prior to your arrival; groups and the Ranch House must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.

Waivers

Each individual that uses our facilities and grounds must sign our waiver for liability release. Lodging Guests: Each group leader is responsible for attaining waivers from all accompanying guests.

Cancelation Period & Fees

If more than 14 days notice is given full payment less a $25 service fee will be refunded. If less than 14 days notice is given full payment is forfeited.

30 days notice is required for the Ranch House with a $100 service fee if more than 30 days notice is given.

Guests are responsible for all nights reserved regardless of the day of departure or arrival.

Winter Weather Warning

Because we are located in the Rocky Mountains, weather cannot be used as reason for cancellation. From November to March you must be prepared for winter driving conditions.

There may be events that occur that are beyond our control which can affect travel to Avalanche Ranch for extended periods of time. If such an event occurs we will allow you to re-book at a future date or pass the reservation on to a third party.

Hours & Cleaning Times

Lodging Guests: Hot Springs access is available 24 hours a day for all registered lodging guests. Your stay includes pool admission from check-in through check-out. To extend your soak after check-out, day passes may be purchased at the office (subject to availability).

Quiet hours for the pools are between 9pm-8am.

Day Pass Visitors: Day passes are available by reservation only from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a refund.

Closed Wednesdays from 9am-5pm for cleaning and maintenance.

Pool Safety

No smoking in Pool area. No pets. No Glass!   There is no lifeguard on duty, please accompany children under 14 years.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping services are provided every few nights for stays greater than 4 nights.

For additional housekeeping, such as linen changes, an additional $25 will be charged per unit, $100 for the Ranch House.

There is a cabinet located on the Lodge porch that hosts additional supplies to restock your cabin.

Smoking Fee

Smoking is not permitted in any of the Avalanche Ranch buildings or Pool Area. A $200 “Deep Clean” fee will be charged if smoking is apparent in Buildings.

Overnight Pet Fee

We do accept some pets as lodging guests (no pets allowed as a Day Visitor); please inquire about our pet policy.

There is a $50 fee per pet, per stay for dogs and small pets (max. 2 pets), $20/night for horses. We request that pets are not left unattended and that they are leashed.

Please inform the office if you plan to bring your pet(s).

Aggressive Pet Policy

Avalanche Ranch has a zero tolerance policy for aggressive dogs. No pets allowed in the common “Lodge” or Pool Area.
